Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote event lasted nearly two hours and was packed with significant announcements. The major highlight was the unveiling of Apple Intelligence, the company’s own artificial intelligence model. Apple Intelligence will utilize users’ personal data on their devices to provide answers to their queries in a privacy-focused manner.

The event also showcased updates to the operating systems of Apple’s range of products, such as iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Notable features included Siri’s enhanced capabilities with Apple Intelligence, the ability to create custom emojis with text prompts in iMessage, and the option to use OpenAI’s ChatGPT for certain queries.

Moreover, new privacy enhancements for iPhones were introduced, allowing users to secure and hide specific apps using Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode. Additionally, iPhone users can now record and transcribe calls directly from the phone app, with all parties being informed of the recording. Furthermore, AirPods users will benefit from new gesture controls for answering or declining calls with simple head movements.
